Celebrating Native American Heritage
Laurentian Chief by Eugène Cloutier’s Amerindian footwear are inspired by the footwear worn by Aboriginal and Amerindian tribes.
Our company Eugene Cloutier, has been manufacturing moccasins, slippers and mukluks since 1945. Three generations of craftsmen have perfected their expertise and passed on their passion to perpetuate the tradition and art of leather work.
The moccasins and boots, inspired by indian art, are hand crafted out of leather, suede or wild moose hide. Each creation answers to its mission: for outdoor or indoor use, for the traditional snowshoe walk, by the fireside or for daily activities. We take pride in our moose hide moccasins and slippers: appearence, softness to the touch and incomparable suppleness.
Laurentian Chief is our trade mark. Our products can be admired in many outlets on this continent. A large inventory allows us to fill most orders within 48 hours; thus, delivery across the world is very fast.
Eugene Cloutier is established in Quebec city. We employ about eighty workers at the factory or from their homes for certain finishing touches. We are pleased to be significantly contributing to the economic growth in our corner of the world.
