The mukluks are winter boots of Inuit and Aboriginal origin, and are known for their versatility, maneuverability, and the warmth they provide during our canadian winters. Fur mukluks from Laurentian Chief by Eugene Cloutier have been made in our workshops for over 70 years and still stand out today for their exceptional quality and durability.
Eugene Cloutier's craftsmen make each pair of fur mukluks by scrupulously following traditional Amerindian methods, with soft, solid leather and suede, but also with hand-picked rabbit fur (faux fur option also available), to preserve warmth and waterproofness. In addition to the fur, you will also find hand-sewn beads and various soles (Ski Crepex sole, rubber sole, Italia sole) for optimal foot support. Finally, be assured to be warm with the fur mukluks’ extra-soft fleece lining. Our artisans are required to follow the ancestral manufacturing method to the letter so that it results in top quality fur mukluks, which you will be able to use for many years.
You can choose from our remarkable selection of Laurentian Chief fur mukluks, available in several heights (8" to 16"), colors (black, red, grey, brown, blue) and sizes (4 to 11).
