As they are of Aboriginal origins, mukluks are winter boots that have been around for centuries and are still known for their maneuverability, versatility, and warmth during Quebec's harsh winters. Amerindian mukluks from Laurentian Chief by Eugene Cloutier have been handcrafted for 70 years and still stand out by their superior quality and increased durability.
Our craftsmen create each pair of mukluks using traditional Amerindian methods with leather and soft suede for better waterproofing. In addition, our Amerindian mukluks have rabbit fur trims (faux fur available), hand-stitched beads, as well as various soles (Ski Crepex, rubber, Italia) for better foot support. Finally, all mukluks are lined in extra-soft fleece for effective heat retention. Our craftsmen make sure to follow every step of crafting to the letter so that the result is superior quality mukluks that you can wear for many years.
